Trooper shot during traffic stop in Maryland

VIENNA, MD—An investigation is underway after a trooper was shot while conducting a traffic stop on Monday night in Wicomico County. The trooper, who has not been identified, was taken to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury for medical treatment of injuries sustained in the shooting.
