Water main break reported in Overlea

A water main break in Overlea is affecting some local residents. The Department of Public Works reports that a twelve-inch main has ruptured in the 3800-block of Taylor Avenue (21236). Twenty five customers, one hydrant, and the Maryland School for the Blind are currently without service. There has been no ETA given on repairs.

Approximately 20,500 gallons of sewage was leaked at Glendale Park, located west of Loch Raven Boulevard and south of Taylor Avenue (21239).
