Maryland gas tax set to increase on July 1

BALTIMORE, MD—Drivers in Maryland should be prepared to pay a little bit more for gas next month. The state’s gas tax will increase to $0.47 per gallon on July 1, 2023, according to the state comptroller’s website.  This will mark an increase of more the 10% and the gas tax rate has increased by 30% over the past two years.
