BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Baltimore area. The watch will remain in effect until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening. Forecasters says scattered wind gusts of up to 70 MPH are possible, along with ping pong ball-sized hail and a few tornadoes. Residents should remain weather-aware throughout the day.
