BALTIMORE, MD—The weekend could start with a few thunderstorms in the Baltimore area. The possibility for severe storms returns to the forecast on Friday. The primary threats will be damaging winds and large hail. Additionally, wildfire smoke should increase, mainly within the upper atmosphere.
