PARKVILLE, MD—Crews responded to a house fire in the Parkville/Carney area on Friday night. The fire was reported at around 9 p.m. in the 8600-block of Quentin Avenue (21234). CARNEY, MD—Crews are on the scene of a Saturday morning crash on I-695 in Parkville/Carney. The crash was reported at around 10:30 a.m. along the outer loop at Perring Parkway. Councilman Marks: Local volunteer fire companies to receive $1 million in grant funding

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Councilman David Marks on Wednesday announced that, as previously announced here, Baltimore County’s 29 volunteer fire companies will receive $1 million in grants as a result of the 2021 American Rescue Plan.
