OVERLEA, MD—Health officials are warning local residents after a rabid coyote attacked a dog and its owner in Overlea this week. The incident occurred on Thursday, October 21, in Holt Park, near Overlea High School and Elmwood Elementary School. The coyote was captured and has tested positive for rabies.
