Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued for Baltimore area on Wednesday

BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Baltimore area. The watch will remain in effect until 10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17th. Forecasters say quarter-sized hail, frequent lightning, and wind gusts of up to 70 mph will be the main risks associated with any storms that develop. Residents should stay tuned to local forecasts.
