BALTIMORE, MD—The U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released state jobs and unemployment data on Friday. According to the preliminary survey data, Maryland gained 11,200 jobs in September, the largest job growth since July 2022. The unemployment rate decreased to 1.6%.
