Empty kayak found in Gunpowder River

The Maryland Natural Resources Police are attempting to locate the owner of a kayak that was found in the Gunpowder River. The yellow Cobra Tandem was found in Harford County’s Joppatowne Canal on Tuesday morning. The kayak did not have any registration numbers on it. The rightful owner is asked to call MDNRP at 410-260-8888.

The state is investigating the deaths of nearly 6,000 fish in Baltimore County waterways this month.
