KINGSVILLE, MD—Two people were rescued in the Gunpowder River on Friday afternoon. At around 3:15 p.m., a 14-foot vessel capsized, prompting an open water rescue. The incident occurred in the Kingsville/Joppa area, according to authorities. Two individual were pulled from the water, but there has been no word on any injuries.
CARNEY, MD—A sanitary sewer has overflowed in the 2400-block of Cub Hill Road this weekend following heavy rains and flooding, according to Councilman David Marks.
