Fire crews responded to a White Marsh financial institution on Wednesday morning. At about 8:30 a.m., units from the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company responded to the First National Bank on Campbell Boulevard for a report of smoke in the building. After further investigation, it is believed that a faulty light fixture was to blame. There were no reported injuries.

Emergency crews were on the scene of an industrial accident in White Marsh that left one worker dead on Saturday afternoon. At just after 2:30 p.m., paramedics responded to the 5200 block of Campbell Boulevard near the Nottingham Square shopping center. Initial reports indicate that a worker was struck by a steel beam.
