Rosedale man, two Baltimore men sentenced for dozens armed robberies

BALTIMORE, MD—Three Baltimore men have been sentenced for their roles in a string of at least 45 armed robberies across Baltimore County, Baltimore City, and Howard County. Corey Sabb, 20, Dewayne Sanders, 20, and Allen Hill, 19, were sentenced on April 22, 2025, by the Honorable Nancy Purpura of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.

The group terrorized communities from November 2023 through January 2024, targeting local businesses and delivery drivers. According to Attorney General Anthony G. Brown, who announced the sentencing, the group committed 22 commercial armed robberies, eight robberies of pizza delivery drivers and civilians, and stole eight vehicles. Their victims, totaling at least 60, were mostly wage-working employees and delivery drivers.

The group frequently employed handguns and other forms of violence, threatening to shoot or striking their victims. All three men pleaded guilty on January 15, 2025. Sabb admitted guilt for participating in a criminal organization, three robberies involving a dangerous and deadly weapon, and two firearm uses in violent crimes. Sanders admitted guilt for his participation in a criminal organization and for committing three robberies and two crimes involving firearms. Hill admitted guilt for participating in a criminal organization and committing three robberies with a dangerous and deadly weapon. Sabb and Sanders each received a sentence of 40 years, with 20 years suspended, followed by 5 years of supervised probation. Hill received a sentence of 30 years, with 6 years suspended, followed by 5 years of supervised probation.

During the sentencing hearing, the court heard from several victims who shared the impact of the robberies on their lives. Attorney General Brown expressed the state’s concern for public safety and emphasized the need for a sentence that reflects justice for the victims. He claimed that the group committed senseless, dangerous, and violent robberies, devastating local communities and terrorizing dozens, just to steal some cash and candy bars. He praised the work of the Criminal Division, Baltimore Police Department, Howard County Police, Baltimore County Police, and the detectives involved in the case.
