BALTIMORE, MD—Maryland State Highway Administration crews will soon begin a $1.1 million pavement resurfacing project on approximately one-mile of MD 166 (South Rolling Road) from the Park and Ride Lot to Bloomsbury Avenue in Catonsville. The project will start as soon as Sunday night, April 27, and is expected to be completed in late June, weather permitting.
Motorists can expect overnight single-lane closures along this section of MD 166, Sundays through Thursdays between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. to patch, mill and resurface sections of asphalt pavement along MD 166. The State Highway Administration’s contractor, C. J. Miller of Hampstead, will also use temporary traffic signs and cones to guide motorists through the work zone.
Beginning as soon as Thursday, May 1, the State Highway Administration will begin a $958,000 pavement resurfacing project on approximately one-mile of MD 151 (Sparrows Point Road/North Point Boulevard) from the Wharf Road (MD 151B) interchange to MD 158 (Bethlehem Boulevard) in Sparrows Point. The project is expected to be completed in late July, weather permitting.
Motorists can expect overnight single-lane closures and flagging operations where needed along this section of MD 151, Sundays through Thursdays between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. to patch, mill and resurface sections of asphalt pavement along MD 151. The State Highway Administration’s contractor, Gray and Son, Inc. of Timonium, will also use temporary traffic signs and cones to guide motorists through the work zone.
The MD 166 and MD 151 projects are part of the State Highway Administration’s ongoing maintenance program to patch, mill and resurface pavements on State highways within Baltimore County.
