New White Marsh traffic light nears installation

WHITE MARSH, MD—The new traffic light at Bucks Schoolhouse Road and Perry Hall Boulevard is nearing installation, Councilman David Marks announced on Thursday morning.

The funding for the new light was secured back in November. Lines were recently marked by Miss Utility and it is expected that the light will be erected later this month.

Councilman Marks also provided an update on other traffic improvements in the area.

“The new traffic light at Campbell Boulevard and Bird River Road will then be installed,” Councilman Marks stated. “The traffic circle at Honeygo Boulevard and Cross Road is expected to be constructed at the end of the year. (We) also expect to see sidewalk ramps and other improvements on the Honeygo Boulevard corridor as resurfacing occurs in the Joppa/Ebenezer area later this year.”
