PARKVILLE, MD—The third time’s the charm? Five Below will hold a rescheduled grand opening celebration this weekend in the North Plaza Shopping Center.
The grand opening will take place from 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025. The event had originally been scheduled for February but was delayed to March, then was delayed once again.
This will be the specialty value retailer’s seventh location in the greater Baltimore County region.
Five Below is a high-growth value retailer offering trend-right, high-quality products targeting tweens, teens and beyond. Most items are priced between $1 and $5 across eight categories: style, room, sports, tech, create, party, candy and new & now. The company opened more than 60 new stores last quarter, an increase of more than 17 percent from the year before.
The grand opening at North Plaza will feature free hot dogs (while supplies last, limit 2 per person) and a free drawstring bag (while supplies last).
Five Below will be opening at 8866 Waltham Woods Road (21234) in the space formerly occupied by Gabe’s Stores.
