DUNDALK, MD—One person is dead following a Tuesday morning standoff in Dundalk.
At approximately 7:30 a.m., on April 1, 2025, officers with the Baltimore County Police Department responded to the 2500-block of Gray Manor Terrace (21222) for a report of a prior firearms discharge.
As officers were investigating that call, they began to be fired upon by a nearby resident. Officers returned fire and called for a barricade. Local schools were placed on lockdown.
The armed subject was later found dead inside the home with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Representatives from Harford County, Baltimore City, Maryland State Police, the ATF, and the FBI assisted in bringing closure to the incident. This remains part of an ongoing investigation.
No one else was injured in this incident.
