OWINGS MILLS, MD—A two-alarm townhome fire in Owings Mills sent a male to the hospital with critical injuries on Wednesday.
Firefighters responded to the 9800-block of Bon Haven Lane (21117) at just after 3:45 p.m. on March 26, 2025 for a report of a dwelling fire. They found the rear of the home engulfed in flames.
During search efforts, crews located a 68-year-old male in cardiac arrest on the third floor of the home. EMS providers immediately began resuscitative efforts and revived the man during transport to a local hospital. The victim is currently in critical condition due to injuries caused by the blaze.
Fire investigators from the Baltimore County Police Department determined the fire was accidental, due to improperly discarded smoking materials on the deck of the home.
