Police searching for witnesses after 15-year-old dog thrown from vehicle on I-695 near White Marsh

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are searching for witnesses after a dog was thrown from a vehicle on I-695 last weekend.

At around noon on Sunday, March 9, 2025, witnesses reported seeing someone throw a dog from a vehicle on the Baltimore Beltway near the Route 43/White Marsh Boulevard split.

Several people then got out of their vehicles to help find the dog.

Baltimore County Animal Services reports that the dog, named Blue, is 15 years old and is doing well.
