WASHINGTON, DC—At an event in Washington D.C. on Thursday, members of the Baltimore County Police Department’s Marine and Dive Teams were recognized for their efforts following the tragic plane crash over the Potomac River in January.
The officers were recognized by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) for their dedication and service in supporting rescue and recovery efforts following the plane crash that occurred over the Potomac River on January 29, 2025.
Representing the Baltimore County Police Department teams were Sgt. J. Bylen, Ofc. D. Sennett, and Ofc. K. Walter.
Police Chief Robert O. McCullough and Colonel Christopher Kelly also attended Wednesday’s event.
