TOWSON, MD—The Baltimore County Fire Department on Tuesday announced several promotions.

Fire Chief Joseph Dixon, Sr. has announced the promotions of eight BCoFD members to the ranks of Fire Captain, Paramedic First Class, Paramedic, Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator and Fire Specialist.

The following members have been promoted:

Fire Captain

• Fire Lt. Kenneth Chu
• Fire Lt. Matthew Lancaster

Paramedic First Class

• PM Chris Broussard

Paramedic

• EMT Gabrielle Hilton
• EMT Chelsea Brandenburg

Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator

• EMT/FF Brian Lilly

Fire Specialist

• EMT/FF Warren Wellman
• EMT/FF Melisa Mabry

The promotions are effective as of March 22, 2025.
