HYDES, MD—An annual Lenten tradition returns to Hydes this year.
The Knights of Columbus Long Green Council #8736 will host the 12th annual Fish Fry at St. John the Evangelist Church Hall in Hydes. The Fish Fry events will occur on Friday, March 21 and Friday, April 11, 2025 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The diverse, Lenten menu includes a $13 fish platter that includes fries, Cole Slaw, a fresh roll and a drink and a $14 shrimp platter that also includes fries, Cole Slaw, a fresh roll, and a drink. There is a kids menu that includes macaroni and cheese, fries, applesauce and a drink or a slice of cheese pizza, fries, applesauce and a rink for $5. There are desserts available as well.
Attendees can eat-in at the church hall or take out and beer and wine are available for adults 21 years and older. Debit cards and credit cards are accepted.
Diners are invited to join in the Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. at the church.
