ESSEX, MD—Police have arrested a suspect following a shooting in Essex that left one woman dead.

Baltimore County homicide detectives have arrested and charged 37-year-old Gregory Graham with first-degree murder in connection with a homicide that occurred on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

At just before 6:15 p.m., officers responded to the area of Honeywood Place and Sugarwood Circle (21221) in response to a shot-spotter report.

When authorities arrived, they located an adult female who sustained a gunshot wound. Stacy Cooper, 49, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gregory Graham is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
