BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the Baltimore area.

The advisory will remain in effect until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Forecasters say to expect southerly winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts of up to 45 to 50 mph as severe storms move through the area.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Motorists should use extra caution.

Residents should secure outdoor objects.
