BALTIMORE, MD—Wednesday could bring two rounds of severe storms in the Baltimore area, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters say isolated severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts and hail are possible on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. An isolated tornado or two, along with large hail, cannot be ruled out.
The first round of storms is likely to move through the region between Wednesday morning and mid-afternoon. A second round of storms is possible from late Wednesday afternoon through the evening hours.
Heavy rain is possible during these storms as well. Residents should stay tuned to local forecasts throughout the day.
