TOWSON, MD—Two suspects have been arrested after impersonating a police officer in east Towson last month.
On Friday, February 28, 2025, a Baltimore County Police Department officer arrested 24-year-old Jordan Kearney and 30-year-old Kendall Vaughn on multiple charges, including impersonating a police officer.
The officer, who was conducting a business check in the area of Joan Avenue and Loch Raven Boulevard, observed the subjects as they were conducting an illegal traffic stop in vehicles equipped with green and white flashing lights.
The traffic stop was performed by one vehicle pulling in front of the victim’s vehicle while a second vehicle stopped behind it, preventing their ability to move.
One subject was armed when they were taken into custody. Additional firearms were recovered from the second subject’s vehicle.
Detectives are asking members of the public who may also have encountered these subjects to contact police at 410-887-2361.
Kearney and Vaughn remain held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on no bond.
