JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a gas leak in the Joppa area.

At approximately 9:15 p.m. on February 27, 2025, the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company that a gas line had been struck along Philadelphia Road.

Route 7 is currently shut down between Joppa Farm Road and Mandeville Road.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
