MIDDLE RIVER, MD—Three people aboard a small plane were injured when it crashed into the mountains of Vermont on Wednesday morning, according to authorities.
The plane, a Piper Cherokee Charger, took off from Martin State Airport in Middle River at just after 6 a.m. on February 26, 2025 and crashed near Equinox Mountain at around 8:30 a.m.
The pilot contacted 9-1-1 after the crash. All three occupants of the plane were transported to a local hospital where they are currently recovering.
