Winning $3.3 million Multi-Match ticket sold in Parkville

PARKVILLE, MD—Monday night’s Multi-Match drawing produced a landmark Maryland Lottery prize on a ticket sold at J Convenience, located at 8765 Satyr Hill Road in Parkville.

The estimated annuity value of the prize is $3.3 million, which makes it the sixth-largest jackpot in Multi-Match history. The winner can choose between the annuity, paid in 25 equal installments, or an estimated cash option of $1.92 million. The winner has 182 days from the drawing date to claim. J Convenience will receive a $3,300 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the lucky ticket.

Multi-Match is a Maryland-only jackpot game, with drawings held every Monday and Thursday evening. Maryland Lottery officials draw six winning numbers from a range of 1 to 43, and the jackpot starts at $500,000 and increases with each drawing until a jackpot-winning ticket is sold.

On each $2 Multi-Match ticket, players receive three lines of six numbers from a range of 1 to 43. To win the jackpot, players must match all six of the winning numbers on any single line of their ticket, and the game offers multiple ways to match the winning numbers using all three lines for smaller prizes.

Multi-Match began in 2006, and produced its largest jackpot win at $5.1 million on May 9, 2022 on a ticket sold in Hampstead. The game’s other top-five jackpots were $4.8 million on Sept. 19, 2009; $4.45 million on March 18, 2010; $3.8 million on Dec. 16, 2010; and $3.6 million on June 8, 2015.
