ABERDEEN, MD—A single shot to support testing operations is scheduled at Aberdeen Proving Ground on Saturday morning, February 22, 2025. Noise may be heard in some areas off the installation.

There will be waterway restrictions on the Chesapeake Bay in the area around Spesutie Island from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Military watercraft may be visible.

These operations are not hazardous to residents in our surrounding communities and are integral to ensuring continued readiness of service members.

Organizations on APG take every measure to mitigate instances when training or testing becomes problematic to residents off the installation. To ensure minimal impact to the community, APG officials monitor the weather and the noise readings continuously throughout each day.
