2025 Baltimore County Councilmanic Redistricting Commission public hearing to be held in Perry Hall in April

PERRY HALL, MD—The 2025 Baltimore County Councilmanic Redistricting Commission will be holding its second public hearing to gather community input and feedback. This public hearing is primarily intended to gather input regarding the eastside of Baltimore County. The Commission will hold its third public hearing at a later date to primarily gather input regarding the west side of the County.

The event will take place 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the Perry Hall Public Library.

While video of the hearing will be live-streamed, participants who wish to speak must attend the hearing in person. Please visit the Baltimore County Council’s “Virtual Meetings” page to register to testify on the day of the hearing. Participants may also register to speak at the hearing from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. To allow all interested individuals to participate, testimony will be limited to 2 or 3 minutes per speaker, at the discretion of the Commission.



In addition to, or in lieu of, providing verbal testimony, the Commission has established a dedicated email address to allow individuals to submit written testimony at any time.  Written testimony may be sent to [email protected].

To facilitate the public understanding of its efforts, the County Council has established a webpage for the general redistricting process and a webpage dedicated to the 2025 Commission. ‘The pubic may learn about the redistricting process in general, view the 2025 Redistricting Manual, read about past redistricting processes and the Council expansion, and keep up with the current activity of the 2025 Commission, including watching meetings, reviewing presentations, and learning about the Commission members.
