NOTTINGHAM, MD—A water main break created a massive sinkhole in the White Marsh area on Saturday.
The 8-inch main ruptured on February 15, 2025 in the area of Beaconsfield Road and Honeygo Boulevard (21236).
A massive sinkhole formed and several residents and businesses, including Casa Mia’s White Marsh, were left without water.
As of Sunday afternoon, “the water is back on and the repair is completed,” according to Councilman David Marks.
“I will be following up with the county regarding a better resurfacing of the affected area,” Marks added. “Thank you to all who worked to repair this corridor, and to all affected homeowners and businesses for their patience.”
