Maryland State Police seek to identify vehicle that struck police cruiser on I-695

BALTIMORE, MD—Maryland State Police are asking for help in locating a vehicle that struck a police cruiser on I-695 overnight.

At just after 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2025, a trooper was assisting a motorist on the right shoulder of the I-695 inner loop in the area of Windsor Mill Road when their patrol vehicle, which was stationary with lights activated, was struck.



No injuries were reported and the trooper was outside of the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The striking vehicle is described as a 2013-2017 dark colored Honda Odyssey with potentially significant damage to the passenger side and front damage to the bumper, fender, and hood.

Authorities say the vehicle also had a small unknown sticker on the left bottom rear window.
