BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Baltimore area.

The advisory covers northern Baltimore County and will remain in effect until 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025.

The forecast calls for moderate snow early Saturday afternoon, then a transition to sleet and freezing rain as temperatures hover near the freezing mark.

Precipitation should eventually change to all rain by Saturday evening.

Snow and sleet accumulations of a dusting up to two inches are expected in some areas. Ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch are likely.

Motorists should down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions can be obtained by calling 5-1-1.

The potential for a stronger winter storm on Wednesday and Thursday of next week remains.
