HYDES, MD—Crews are on the scene of a serious crash in Hydes.

At around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025, the Long Green Volunteer Fire Company reported that units were responding to a motor vehicle accident in the 4800-block of Hydes Road.

Hydes Road is closed to traffic.

Maryland State Police Aviation Command Trooper 1 is en route and landing at Hydes Field.

Motorists should avoid the area.
