BALTIMORE, MD—The next round of wintry precipitation is approaching Maryland, and the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory.
The advisory covers northern Baltimore County and will be in effect from noon on Saturday, February 8, 2025 until midnight.
Forecasters say mixed precipitation expected throughout the event. Total snow and sleet accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of around 0.10-inch are possible.
Precipitation is expected to move into the Baltimore area at around noon on Saturday, likely beginning as snow before transitioning to sleet and eventually freezing rain through the afternoon hours. Precipitation will transition to rain late Saturday evening as temperatures warm.
Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions, slow down, and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions can be obtained by calling 5-1-1.
