UPDATE: All branches of the Baltimore County Public Library will open at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
Additionally, The state has declared liberal leave for Baltimore City and all Maryland counties from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m tomorrow, Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Non-emergency essential employees who report to the office may use liberal leave upon notification to the employee’s supervisor. Employees who are telework eligible and scheduled to telework should telework as scheduled unless leave is granted.
Emergency essential state employees should report as scheduled.

TOWSON, MD—Baltimore County Public Schools have announced a delayed opening on Thursday.
Due to forecasted inclement weather, Baltimore County public schools and offices will open two hours late on February 6, 2025.
There will be no morning Pre-K classes.
BCPS officials will reevaluate and provide any updates to operational status by 7 a.m.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the Baltimore area through Thursday morning due to expected sleet and ice accumulations.
