NOTTINGHAM, MD—Baltimore County Councilman David Marks on Monday announced the appointment of Tonya Henderson of Perry Hall to the Baltimore County Commission on Veterans’ Affairs.
Henderson is First Junior Vice President for the Paul L. Thompson Disabled American Veterans Chapter 1. She is also the Chapter Service Officer. She is completing her doctorate in management and also volunteers with the Sister Circle, mentoring inner city high school young ladies.
“I am delighted to recommend Ms, Henderson to this commission which advocates for programs and support for our veterans population,” said Councilman Marks.
“I look forward to continuing my advocacy for veterans with this new opportunity,” added Henderson.
