BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Wednesday in the Baltimore area.

The advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on January 29, 2025.

Forecasters say westerly winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts of up to 50 mph are expected throughout the day.

Gusty winds will likely blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Motorists should use extra caution.
