Grocery Outlet holds grand opening in Overlea

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Grocery Outlet held its grand opening in Overlea/Fullerton on Thursday morning.

The ribbon was cut at 10 a.m. at the new supermarket, located in the former Horizon Cinemas location at the Belair Beltway Plaza shopping center.

Founded in 1946, Grocery Outlet is a high-growth, retailer of quality, name-brand consumables and fresh products and offers fresh produce, meat, deli, dairy and more. Its flexible buying model allows the company to offer quality, name-brand opportunistic products at prices generally 40 percent to 70 percent below those of conventional retailers, providing a reasonable priced grocery option for residents. Grocery Outlet currently operates locations in California, Idaho, Maryland, New Jersey, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

“Congratulations to the new owners, Robin and Susanna Eccleston, for providing a much-needed addition that has brought new jobs and vibrancy to the Overlea area,” said Baltimore County Councilman Mike Ertel on Thursday morning.

Grocery Outlet is located at 7660 Belair Road.
