Three-alarm fire rips through Dundalk recycling plant

UPDATE: Authorities say the fire has reignited at the plant.

DUNDALK, MD—A three-alarm fire tore through a Dundalk recycling plant on Saturday evening.



The blaze broke out at around 6 p.m. on January 18, 2025 in the 1900-block of Rettman Lane.

Crews are battling the fire at Owl Metals Recycling Plant from the exterior only as a partial building collapse has been reported.

One person has been transported to a medical facility.  Residents are being advised to shelter-in-place.
