Overnight two-alarm house fire in Dundalk leaves 8 hospitalized, 3 critically injured

DUNDALK, MD—An overnight house fire in Dundalk has left eight people injured.

Fire crews responded to a house fire in the 3400-block of Loganview Drive at just after 2:15 a.m. on January 2, 2025.



Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy fire conditions and requested a second alarm. Fortunately, all residents had escaped the fire, but all eight suffered injuries.

Crews contained the blaze at just after 3:30 a.m.  The fire was ruled accidental and caused by an electrical malfunction.

Officials say three residents are in critical condition and five residents sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
