ROSEDALE, MD—Baltimore County detectives have arrested 30-year-old Mark Jones in the fatal shooting of four-year-old Jacobi Jones and the non-fatal shooting of two others in Rosedale.

The incident occurred at just after 6:30 a.m. on December 24, 2024, in the unit block of Breslin Court (21237).

Once on scene, officers located an adult female along with two juveniles suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the upper body.

Medics transported the three victims to an area hospital, where four-year-old Jacobi Jones was pronounced dead.

Mark Jones is currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
