UPDATE 2: Police say suspicious items in a vehicle have been detonated and one person has been taken into custody.

UPDATE: Initial reports indicate that police were investigating reports of an armed individual in the Lowe’s parking lot.  The area has been evacuated and blocked off.

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police say they are investigating an incident in the Nottingham area.

At just after 12:45 p.m. on Friday, December 27, authorities said they were investigating a “suspicious circumstance” in the area of the Lowe’s Home Improvement located in the 5300-block of Campbell Boulevard (21236).

Police are asking those nearby to avoid the area until further notice.
