TOWSON, MD—A popular Towson restaurant will soon be closing its doors.
Smoke at the Point has announced that it will shutter the restaurant side of its business in early January and shift to focusing on private parties, events, and catering.
After over 7 years of serving the Towson community and nearly a decade of dedication to this project, the time has come to close the chapter on Smoke at the Point as a restaurant. This was not an easy decision. We’ve poured our hearts into this space, but the time has come to pivot in response to the changing landscape.
As a business owner with multiple restaurants and catering ventures, I’ve always focused on adapting to the times and staying ahead of trends. To better serve our community, we’ve made the decision to pivot. Smoke at the Point will serve its last meal on January 12, 2025, and we’ll be transforming this space into something new: an event venue dedicated to creating memorable experiences. Additionally, we’re excited to share that we’ll be opening a new event space in Baltimore, so this pivot and our catering company, Blind Tiger Mobile Bar, aligns perfectly with our long-term vision and goals.
After January 12, 2025, we’ll take some time to revamp and reopen with an exciting new focus:
• Private events, parties, and celebrations
• Event space rentals
• Off-site catering
• Public events, including pop-ups, themed parties, and workshops
