BALTIMORE, MD—Bitterly cold weather is set to return to the Baltimore area this weekend, and some light snow showers will likely usher in the chilly temperatures.

The National Weather Service says snow showers are expected on Friday and into Saturday as a strong cold front moves through the region.

Things will then turn much colder throughout the Baltimore area with lows in the upper teens on Saturday night and in the mid-teens on Sunday night.
