BALTIMORE, MD—A soaker is on tap for the Baltimore area from Tuesday night through Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters say a soaking rain will move into the area on Tuesday evening. Periods of heavy rain are possible on Wednesday along with some rumbles of thunder.
Morning temperatures on Wednesday will be around 60 degrees, but will drop rapidly later in the day. Some icy patches are possible on Wednesday night and the precipitation could end as snow for areas north and west of I-95. No accumulation is expected.
A total of 1 to 3 inches of rainfall are expected before the system winds down on Wednesday night.
