COCKEYSVILLE, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department’s “Shop with a Cop” event will return this weekend.

Saturday, December 14, 2024 will mark the 23rd annual “Shop with a Cop” in Baltimore County.  This event provides young people in the community the opportunity to shop for their loved ones while teaming up with a member of the Baltimore County Police Department. This year, the Department will have 102 children participating in the event.

At approximately 8 a.m., the officers and children will arrive at the Walmart store in Cockeysville (1 Frankel Way, 21030). As they arrive, the officers and children will be greeted by members of the Optimist Club of Baltimore County, who will provide each child with $100 to spend as they choose.
