The advisory will remain in effect until 2 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
Forecasters say visibility will be reduced to one-quarter mile or less in many locations.
Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
Conditions will improve south of a passing warm front overnight. To the north, fog may persist through daybreak.
If driving, motorists are urged to slow down, use headlights, and leave plenty of stopping distance.
