Suspect arrested in Baltimore County homicide

WOODLAWN, MD—Baltimore County detectives have arrested a suspect in the August 3 homicide of 29-year-old Tracey Hankins Jr.

Kevin Martin, 31, was arrested on Nov. 25 in connection with the shooting death of Hankins. The incident occurred in the 6800-block of Liberty Road.



Police responded to a shots fired call at about 10:05 p.m. on August 3rd. When officers arrived, they found Hankins unresponsive and suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Martin remains in custody without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
